Inspiring Great Leadership – Be Business Fit

This award aims to recognise organisations that are dedicated to improving and sustaining their workforce and their business environment. The judges will be looking for organisations who have leadership at the heart of their business and an employee engagement strategy which inspires, excites and values the workforce.

Team of the year – Choose to grow

This award recognises the HR team that has demonstrated excellence within their department and across the wider organisation. The judges are looking for examples of how the HR function is shaping the people agenda alongside the business strategy to generate positive results and deliver benefits to the bottom line.

Best HR Initiative – Chwarae Teg

This award aims to recognise individuals who are dedicated to improving the workforce and their business environment. The judges will be looking for individuals who gone above and beyond to deliver a strategy which includes diversity and inclusion, as well as CSR, Health and Wellbeing.

Best Apprentice / Assistant of the year

This award recognises the HR assistant, trainee or apprentice that has demonstrated excellence and the potential to become a future HR leader. The award looks to recognise the rising stars already making a difference within their organisation. Entrants can nominate themselves or be entered by their managers / colleagues.

Best use of Welsh Language – Cyfreithwyr

This award is for an HR Team / Professional who has successfully delivered bilingual HR services throughout their organisation or business. The judges will be looking for evidence or examples, by virtue of the HR team/professional’s work, that the workforce has an appreciation of the Welsh language and its use in the day to day running of the organisation / business.

Outstanding HR professional – Quantum Advisory

For this award, the judges are looking for a demonstration of the contribution the individual has made to the organisation by developing the people strategy alongside the organisation’s vision, values and purpose.

This award is open to HR professionals at director level working in any sector. The judges are looking for a demonstration of the contribution the individual has made to the organisation by developing an effective HR function as well as a wider participation in business leadership. Entrants may use testimonials from across the organisation.

This award has been created for this year to recognise the outstanding response of businesses who have responded to the huge challenges during the pandemic. The judges are looking for businesses who have gone above and beyond to support their employees and the community. Testimonials would be welcomed for this award from employees and the community.

This award aims to recognise employers that are dedicated to improving and sustaining their workforce and their business environment. The judges will be looking for organisations who have diversity and inclusion at the heart of their business and an employee engagement strategy which inspires, excites and values the workforce. We will also be looking for ways in which the HR function has promoted CSR, Health and Wellbeing.

This category recognises the achievements of HR consultancies across Wales. Entries should come from consultancies who can show a measurable positive impact for clients and will be judged on specific projects. Entries must be accompanied with a testimonial from a client as supporting material. Entries may be submitted by a consultancy, consultant or a client.

Best Equality Diversity and inclusion strategy

For this award the judges are looking for companies who promote the values of equality, diversity and inclusion and help make the workplace a better environment for all. This award will recognise companies who go above and beyond in their social responsibility to create and celebrate true diversity in the workplace.

We all know the importance of wellbeing, especially at work. This award will celebrate those companies who have focussed on the wellbeing of their workers and introduced initiatives and policies that have made a real difference to the lives of their employees.
